We have a repeatable research and development process that generates the deliverables required for a purchaser or manufacturing partner of EMAG-Force to begin the manufacturing process. Once they have begun that process, a sales and marketing pipeline can be defined to piggy-back on their existing lines/product markets or develop new markets.
The package of both patent and prototype is used during the purchase/partnering process to generate anticipated costs per unit based on a Bill of Materials (BOM) for the prototype's construction, 3rd party inputs from testing and validation data. With this information, a prospective purchaser/partner can generate their in-house proforma to clearly outline the future revenues based on what-if scenarios.
Phase I - Conceptual
In this phase of each product development lifecycle, our thinktank members utilize their industry experience and research skills to develop problem/solution fit products.
Deliverables: Patent-ready conceptual drawings, supporting calculations and target market.
Deliverables: Patent-ready conceptual drawings, supporting calculations and target market.
Phase II - Internal Design
Phase II utilizes the inputs of the prior Phase and further refines a Rough Order of Magnitude “ROM” costs based on a Bill of Materials “BOM” for a full production unit.
Deliverables: ROM, BOM, refined design Patent secured, and target MRSP of end product based on market research/fit for purpose; proforma for product.
Deliverables: Patent-ready conceptual drawings, supporting calculations and target market.
Phase III - Prototype
The BOM & refined design specifications are delivered to our University/3rd Party partners to perform a basic experimental modeling of a functional unit or sub-units.
Deliverables: data from testing functional unit, refined BOM specifications, further refined design specifications, use case test scenarios to support full prototype development/finalization, and final prototype costs based on design.
Deliverables: Patent-ready conceptual drawings, supporting calculations and target market.
Phase IV - Fully Tested Prototype
3rd Party engineers reviewing final specifications/BOM and construct Prototype. Full testing, other 3rd party testing/validation is performed.
Deliverables: Full Prototype working model (demo unit), Full testing/validation to industry/customer standards documentation, and final specifications/cost per single unit manufacturing costs. Final blueprints/drawings needed for manufacture.
Deliverables: Patent-ready conceptual drawings, supporting calculations and target market.
Phase V - Production-Ready Package
Final Deliverables: Assemble Package/Presentation of the final BOM (as inputs to a proforma), patents ready for transfer (if acquisition), full design blueprints/specifications for technology components.
Generate Revenue Alternatives:
a) Contract Manufacturing
b) Royalty/Lease of Package/Patents
c) Sale/Acquisition of Package/Patents
d) Partner with Party with Resources sufficient to Go To Market w/Product
Deliverables: Patent-ready conceptual drawings, supporting calculations and target market.
We recommend engaging with EMAG-Force early in our R&D cycles as this aid in our focusing the deliverables and capabilities to your manufacturing constraints and the needs of your end customers. Our team are happy to have a brief conversation and develop and outline of the specifications, capacity or capabilities that would be optimal.
